Avimec (50mL) – Topical Ivermectin Treatment

A safe and effective topical solution for treating Scaly Face Mite in budgies and external parasites in chickens, including red mites, fleas, scaly leg mites, and some worms.

Chickens: 0.5mL per kg on bare skin
Budgies: 1–2 drops weekly for 3 weeks
Withholding: 7 days (eggs & meat)

Avimec – Ivermectin Topical Treatment (50mL)
Active Constituent: 1000µg/mL Ivermectin

Avimec is a trusted topical ‘drop-on’ solution used to treat Scaly Face Mite in budgerigars, and is also safe for use on chickens. It effectively helps control a range of external parasites including:

Red mites
Fleas
Scaly leg mites
Some species of worms*

For Chickens:
Dose at 0.5mL per kg of body weight, applying directly to an unfeathered area of skin.
Withholding Period: 7 days for eggs and meat.
*Note: This product does not treat all internal worms. For full worming coverage, we recommend Avitrol Worming Tablets.

For Budgerigars:

Birds under 30g: 1 drop
Birds 30–100g: 2 drops
Repeat weekly for 3 weeks. Apply to an unfeathered area and treat the entire aviary. Recovery may take up to 6 weeks.

Safe to use with: food additives, supplements, and other oral medications.
