Peters Energy Block is specially developed to suit Australian conditions. Wholesome, tasty grains and seeds are blended with beef tallow plus parsley, basil, sage and garlic for a flavour filled treat.

Beef tallow provides almost twice the energy of carbohydrates and also slows the rate of digestion, so hens can absorb more nutrients from their feed. This helps them to stay cooler in summer and warmer in winter. Peters Energy Blocks are also great for moulting season when chickens need more energy and protein to help grow their feathers back faster.

Sunflower seeds are rich in linoleic acid and pet chickens love to eat them. Linoleic acid is an essential omega-6 fatty acid that is important for hen health. It helps hens to lay larger eggs regularly.

Each block can be divided into four handy single serves.
