This porridge is the perfect boost chickens need during moulting time, in winter, during and after high-stress situations or if your hen is laying soft eggshells
Warm porridge for chickens is a nutritious, energising meal. Chickens love oats, which are an excellent source of vitamins, protein, and antioxidants. Raw or cooked, oats provide essential vitamins and nutrients including calcium, choline, copper, iron, magnesium, niacin, riboflavin, thiamine, and zinc.
A hearty, nourishing meal to supplement or replace your chook’s daily diet and warm their tummies!
Contains protein-boosting supplements such as:
- Ginger: For chickens, Ginger is known to be a great appetite stimulant, anti-oxidant, and also stress reducer. Ginger is a miracle worker for our feathered friends circulatory system, helping to stimulate blood flow, so adding it to their diet in winter is a must.
- Parsley: A nutritional powerhouse, parsley contains vitamins A, B, C, E, and K, as well as calcium, iron, magnesium, selenium, and zinc. It aids in blood-vessel development and also stimulates egg-laying
- Black Soldier Fly Larvae: BSFL is rich in protein and key vitamins and minerals, and provides an excellent source of amino acids, essential building blocks for growth and egg production.
- Fenugreek Seed: Fenugreek seeds possess many beneficial effects such as hypoglycemic, anti-helminthic, anti-inflammatory, and anti-microbial properties. Nutritional-wise, fenugreek is a rich source of protein, fatty acids, and minerals such as phosphorus, iron, zinc, magnesium, and calcium. Fenugreek is known to decrease stress levels in chickens.
