Designed for installation inside your chicken coop, this durable nesting box provides two private laying compartments and is suitable for flocks of up to approximately 8 hens.

With two separate nesting compartments, more than one hen can lay at the same time. This can reduce crowding, squabbling and queues around a favourite nesting space.

Each compartment has a gently sloped floor that allows freshly laid eggs to roll forward into a protected collection tray. Once the eggs roll away, they remain out of reach of the hens, helping to prevent egg eating, pecking, dirty eggs and accidental breakages.

The front collection lid makes it easy to gather your eggs without reaching into the nesting compartment. Simply lift the lid and remove the clean, protected eggs from the tray.

How Does the Rollaway Nesting Box Work?

Where Should I Install the Nesting Box?

Choose a quiet, shaded and sheltered position inside the coop. Hens naturally prefer to lay in a private area away from excessive light, noise and activity.

Install the nesting box:

• Below the height of the roosting perches
• Away from food and water
• Away from the main entrance where possible
• In a dry, sheltered section of the coop
• On a strong, stable mounting surface

Installation and Setup

The nesting box is supplied flat-packed and requires assembly.

1. Choose the Position
