Installation & Setup

1. Choose your mounting position. Select a secure, vertical surface and check that the door can move freely
2. Measure before cutting. Follow the supplied installation instructions for the required coop opening. The dimensions above are the overall unit size, rather than the cut-out size.
3. Secure the frame. Align the door and fasten evenly using the included screws
4. Insert the batteries. Fit three AA batteries, following the polarity markings, and replace the battery cover
5. Set the local time. Press SET and use the arrow buttons to adjust the hours and minutes, confirming each value
6. Program your schedule. Set the opening and closing times, then allow the display to stop flashing to save
7. Test operation. Check a complete opening and closing cycle before relying on the programmed schedule

Care & Maintenance

Clean the track and door plate weekly, removing mud, bedding and debris that could restrict movement. Replace batteries when the low-battery indicator appears and check the timer settings regularly.

Coop tip: Set the closing time after your flock has settled inside and check that every bird is in before the door closes. If an obstruction prevents closure, the anti-trap function may leave the door open, so regular checks remain essential.
